RIFTWAKE

v31 · Expedition combat and records

Stronger Vanguard and Warden kits, map-specific boss sequences, guarded rifts and records separated by ruleset.

Expedition combat

Vanguard and Warden gain stronger base and evolved weapons and selected class skills. Arcanist weapon and class-skill values and PvP rules are unchanged. Melee attacks no longer spend their cooldown on a target outside their reach.

Bosses across all six maps use map-specific sequences and health phases. Read circular, cone and lane-shaped footprints, then respond during windup, attack and recovery.

Guarded rifts

A normal rift requires one guardian defeat and completed capture, awarding one imprint and one chest choice. An overcharged rift requires two guardians in sequence and adds a map-specific hazard. Complete it for one imprint and two chest choices.

Activating or failing an overcharge awards no points by itself. The new scoring rules recognize growth, evolutions, actual combat and completed rifts.

Loot and screen

Chests require a close approach regardless of XP pickup upgrades. Minimap loot markers, floor-item guidance and fusion key hints have been improved. HUD groups can be moved and made smaller, with a revised default boss-panel position.

Your earlier records remain

Earlier scores and rankings are retained under their original rules and can be viewed separately from v31. Old scores are not converted. Future expeditions counted toward Rift Mastery must last at least 10 minutes. Existing unlocks and purchased mastery tiers remain.
